I thought it was a better layout at H&W ground this week with a better mix of targets. They were topped by another fine shoot by Julian Waszczak I noticed that he had repaired the stock of his invalided Browning with a smart piece of gaffer tape. He swears it's added 5 targets to his score. I personally think that he has discovered some performance-enhancing cereals that he's taking with his breakfast. Either way, he was top gun with a superb 65 broken targets, one more than Bob Warder, and three better than third-place man, Chris Arthur.
Top Handicapper was the rapidly improving Don Walford. This week he beat his average by over six points and the scratch winner by two points. Third place went to Malcolm Speer who topped his own average by three targets. Well done everyone.
Dave Salter took the scratch top spot at South Worcester with an excellent 83 broken clays. Jonathan Skelding was just two behind in the Silver medal position with Len taking third place. Jonathan was Handicap winner with John Griffiths the only other shooter to beat his average in second place. Dave Salter was third-place man on the Handicap scale. I'm not around next week as I have decided to get wet in Cornwall for a change but send me the scores as usual and you will get your report as usual.
