Well, it looks like Spring has finally arrived and the quality of our shooting has picked up with the weather. Dave Salter put in the top scratch score at Mr Butlers with a super 65 ex 75. Three Dodgers tied with a score just a single target behind David. Handicap adjustments across the three placed Julian Waszczak in second place with Chris Arthur beating Bob Warder, into third place. Don Walford's 47 was his best score this year and won him the Handicap Gold medal. Bob Jordan took the Silver medal position leaving Mark Reacord in Handicap third place. South Worcester saw a strong scratch competition between Dave Salter, currently shooting out of his skin, and Paul Stokes who has routinely given us a shooting lesson on every attendance. Dave won the day with his best ever score of 95 beating Paul's best score this year by just two targets. Len Sandford took the Handicap top spot with another beat score of 2024. David was handicap runner up with Paul in third place. Star of the day was Trevor Griffiths who borrowed John Griffith's mighty 28g and shot a full round of the course unaided. Trevor is not in the greatest physical shape but to his immense credit, he gritted his teeth and stepped out the full course and shot every target, breaking almost half of them. "A jouney of a thousand miles begins with a single step" eh Trev?
